Mission Dolores, San Francisco

By 1791, the American Revolutionary War was history, with the deaths of about 25,000 American Revolutionaries.

The year 1791 also saw the completion of Missión San Francisco.  It is the oldest, intact mission.  Its four feet thick walls, and original Redwood logs still supporting the roof, survived the 1906 Earthquake.

The white wall to the left boarders the Mission Cemetery.
