On April 22, 2013, we added a new post to the City Birds Photo Blog featuring city scenes of Twenty-first Century Seoul, South Korea. Included are photos of some of the City's beautiful architecture and scenes of downtown which illustrate the greening of that beautiful and prosperous place.
On February 10, 2013, we added a picture of a juvenile Black Phoebe to the Featured Birds Section taken with a Canon SX40 HS Camera .
On January 11, 2013 we added six pictures to the sidebars on the City Birds Photo Blog, three bird pix and three city scenes. Also we have added nine panoramas of the San Francisco and Oakland downtown areas, Mt. Diablo, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. They are located on the right sidebar under the 'More City Scenes' category. These pictures were taken with the amazing Canon SX40 HS Camera .
On December 1, 2012 we added three studies of White-crowned Sparrows taken at the gardens of Fort Mason, San Francisco, to the Featured Bird Section. The Autumn day was sunny and mild and the birds and people were having a wonderful time at that beautiful location.
On November 14, 2012 we added an album of nine close-ups of the House Finches which call City Birds Country, the Heart of San Francisco, home to the Featured Bird Section. Their ability to live in the concrete jungle is remarkable, difficult and unnatural. We belive you will find these pictures insightful.
On October 15, 2012 we added twelve new pictures of city birds taken at Lake Merritt, Oakland, California and City Birds Country, the Heart of San Francisco. Also, we added ten new bird's-eye views to illustrate what is seen by the birds flying over and around the heart of the City. The thumbnails of all twenty-two pictures can be found on the left sidebar of the City Birds Photo Blog directly below the "Post Archive."
