Gallery Eleven, installed on May 1, 2004, features Fishermen's Wharf.  Occasionally citizens of the City enjoy visiting the Wharf to rub shoulders with thousands of people from all over the world, hearing different languages with almost every step.  This Spring 2004 visit to Fishermen's Wharf included a visit to the WWII submarine, Pampanito at Pier 45 and our world famous Sea Lions at Pier 39.  After several hours of walking the Wharf, enduring the unending activity and the barking Sea Lions, we retreated to the quiet serenity of Trinity Church.

Digital Photo Gallery Twelve was installed on May 18, 2004. In Gallery Twelve we show you some pictures of Lafayette Park taken on a rainy morning -- the last Spring 2004 rains.  The contrast to Lafayette Park in the hot Sun seen in Gallery Eight is striking.  Included are pictures of Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, and a Nob Hill scene with fog and a San Francisco Cable Car.  In time for Memorial Day are pictures of the main Post Chapel at the Presidio of San Francisco, San Francisco National Cemetery, Unknown Soldier Memorial and more.

In Gallery Thirteen, published June 6, 2004, we focus on Memorial Day 2004 Weekend which began with Boy Scouts decorating San Francisco National Cemetery on Saturday, May 29th.  The weather was ideal over the weekend.  San  Francisco National Cemetery, located on the grounds of the Presidio of San Francisco, is the oldest national cemetery in the Western United States, with over 30,000 veterans buried in that beautiful place.

In Gallery Fourteen, published June 6, 2004, City Birds joins others at the main Parade Ground at the Presidio of San Francisco on Memorial Day 2004 -- gathered to march together to the nearby San Francisco National Cemetery to honor our fallen heroes.  Digital Gallery Fourteen illustrates the enjoyable time had at the Parade Ground prior to the march and during the march to the Cemetery.

In Gallery Fifteen, published June 6, 2004, we show you some pictures of the Memorial Day 2004 Ceremony at San Francisco National Cemetery.  Included is the presentation of the Colors, laying of a wreath in honor of the Fallen and flyovers by Raptors and U.S. Army helicopters.  After the ceremony we retreated to the Presidio Parade Ground for the 21-Gun Salute.
