In the previous gallery we visited the Presidio and San Francisco National Cemetery therein, touching a bit upon the cost of past wars fought by the United States.  During the beautiful weather of Easter 2005 weekend, we City Birds grabbed our cameras and were out the door early.  Walking past the Civic Center we came upon the Empty Boots Iraq War Memorial which stretched from the foot of City Hall down the entire length and breadth of the Mall.  We joined many people in reflecting upon the cost of our current Iraq War.  Digital Photo Gallery Twenty was published May 12, 2005 by City Birds.
